How many of us go through the day a movie star? How about a video dancer? A model? Have you ever walked down a ‘run way’ ?
You know you do this…..
For me, it’s music that puts me in that place. 
Your driving down the Highway, In traffic, thumbing through the radio stations to pass the time…. and suddenly you hear a song that makes you want to DANCE… You tap your foot, you keep the beat on your steering wheel, your shoulders start moving, maybe you bob your head.
Not really wanting the people stuck in traffic around you to witness your quirky, sometimes terrible dancing skills, you keep all this low key…..then you let your imagination GO!!! And pretty soon you are starring in a video with P-Diddy?, Puff-Daddy? (who ever)!!!!! And you are his main back-up dancer! You are making up all the cool dance steps up as you go, cause that’s what a back-up dancer of your stature does, right? Everyone is envious of you!!!! And even P-Diddy thinks your cool!!!! MTV is gonna be calling you for your own video soon!!!
WOOAH!!!! The car in front of you stops really fast… and then you are back to the normal, everyday traffic.
Anyone? Anyone? Any takers of this activity or is it just me? Man! I must be weird!!!!
What about the sappy romance movie with the hot leading man?
Don’t you kinda have thoughts that the leading lady could be you? That you would have done this, or maybe that, to have had a better ending with your ‘man’… You all know you wished you were ‘Baby’ in Dirty Dancing’.
Here is one…. What about a sassy outfit? Have you ever put on an outfit that you know is HOT… and you strut your stuff down your make believe run way? Or strike a pose in the mirror? Cause if you say no… your lying.
Have you ever been the star of your own cooking show? “just a dash of salt and whala!!!”
These things that we do…. I know they have to be normal. RIGHT? Cause what else gets you through your day, but some good old fashioned imagination?
So next time you see a blonde girl beside you, stuck in traffic….. you can smile, knowing that she’s back stage, hanging with Beyonce’. Having the time of her life.
