Starting my new life back here in Dallas after a 12 year ‘hiatus’ in Tyler, TX.

Needless to say, starting over is harder than I thought. New furniture, new place to live, new job, new schools, new friends…..you name it, its new. Not to mention the new stresses that came along for the ride.

Having worked for an architect for 9 years, I recently moved over to the design development(slash)construction part of the industry. Its pretty much the same, we just get to make sure its built they way we designed it, down to the nails used to mount artwork… I work for Techcon Dallas, Inc., we design upscale restaurants here in the Dallas area and all over the U.S. Very interesting work. Fun Too…

So, I am a single mom… My son just turned 5 and is old enough to push all the right buttons, at just the right times.  But I love him dearly and wouldn’t trade him for anything.  Our hobbies include, watching TV.. Playing Wii, arguing over who’s going to feed the fish, T-ball, Dugout mom,  Guitar Hero Champ, Swimming, Whining, leaving our room a mess, Soccer, snacking and rushing around….. I’ll let you pick what hobby goes with whom.
